The Opportunity

Through demonstration of strong system technical skills, interpersonal and organizational skills, the Assistant, Human Resources (Systems) will assist in carrying out a variety of duties and responsibilities related to HR functions and system. Reporting directly to the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Administer and input data related to employee records in HRIS (HR database)
  • Execute mass data changes as needed utilizing data load tools (when applicable)
  • Raise system issues with HR Advisor to determine root cause and solve effectively
  • Assist with reviewing and replying to incoming email inquiries from HR or IT team, related to HR projects
  • Transcribe information into required electronic or paper format (as needed)
  • Store completed documents in designated locations (employee or HR folders)
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files (as directed by HR team)
  • Comply with confidentiality, data integrity, and security policies always
  • Assist with providing coverage for HR customer service

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a professional with a post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or a closely related field. Our ideal candidate has 1-2 years of related experience in Human Resources, Administrative and/or Customer Service and will be proficient in computer applications such as MS Office and HRIS systems. We are seeking an individual with technical expertise, accurate keyboarding skills and exceptional attention to detail, a demonstrated ability to exercise significant discretion and sensitivity on HR matters.

This position offers a wage rate of $21.00/hour. This is a 3 month contract opportunity
